PAN card is one of the most important documents for people filing income tax. The unique 10-digit alphanumeric code is linked with all financial transactions of an entity that helps the income tax department to track the taxes paid by it. PAN card is issued by two institutions – TIN-NSDL and UTIITSL. An individual/entity can apply for a new PAN, re-print PAN or file any grievances online as well as through phone. However, the applicant availing services from one institution has to contact the same for any information or grievances using the PAN card customer care number.
